Thirty-five years ago, the author was run over while standing in the middle of a New Hampshire road on a rainy night. Thanks to youthful resilience, there appeared to be no permanent damage from being struck by the vehicle with Illinois plates.
Recently, he was struck again, knocked sideways by a cell phone containing correspondence, a late-night text, and a singular oceanside photo. These injuries appear to be more severe, as his heart has likely suffered permanent damage, and sleep has been difficult. There is presently no clear path forward for optimal health.
To make use of his sleepless hours, the author has chosen to incorporate story-writing therapy into his rehabilitation program. His hope is that by telling his story, he may be able to provide clarity to himself and his assailant.
In his spare time, the author enjoys time with friends, films, concerts, golf - and writing...
